Hail to Spark
1987 TB Mare
15.2h TB mare by Elevation/Hail to Reason out of Shimmery White
|
This mare was chosen for our breeding program for her classic elegant hunter type and her clean conformational lines, not to mention her old bloodlines as a direct grandaughter of Hail to Reason by the great sire Elevation. Spark's nicely sloping shoulder and uphill build give her an easy gait with a nice reach. Her straight leg conformation with flat knees ensures her soundness even under a strenuous workload. Spark's easy temperament is quiet enough for the smallest of children to handle, and her incredibly willing attitude lends itself well to producing a talented hunter/jumper mount for children or adults, alike. She also passes on exceptional movement and stride to her foals. Spark produced two beautiful fillies while here on our Farm: Be Czar'castic, a Premium RPSI filly by Balta'Czar who has joined our broodmare band, and a Gorgeous Frame Overo filly by Remarquez owned by Paulette R. of Lexington, VA. Spark is currently enjoying a wonderful retirement home in beautiful southern North Carolina. |

Kora's Pearl

Photo Coming Soon!! 16hTB mare by Big Mukora out of Reason's Pearl
|
This mare was brought up from Kentucky to be one of our foundation broodmares along with Spark. She had a foal at her side, Comstock Pearl by Comstock Lode. Kora has fabulous conformation, and very large bone. Built like the old style TB's, this wonderful mama has a deep girth and a powerful hind end. She passes along beautiful Hunter movement to her foals, and perfect leg conformation along with her lovely high neck set. The filly we bought and brought with her from Kentucky went on to place first at Upperville in the Yearling TB fillies class under our farm. We bred one gorgeous Thoroughbred filly by Our Valley View out of her, and sold the two of them to Carlee H. for her Warmblood Breeding Program. |

Pandora Petit
16h Thoroughbred Mare by Dixie Power out of Bal Petit Bal
|
This mare was chosen for her stunningly elegant looks, and her incredible Dressage Movement. PandaBear has a wonderfully sweet temperament, and a willing, sunny personality. Built like a jumper, with movement like a Dressage Queen, I purchased this mare backwards from traditional breeder's methods. I fell in LOVE with the Jump Start Farm Stallion, Aslan, and searched for over a year to find a perfect match for him to breed Warmblood Dressage horses. I knew the moment I saw Panda that she was the absolute perfect match for him, so finally I had a mate for the stallion I chose the year before. As luck would have it, Pandora DID produce a long-awaited incredible colt, however he was ALL Hunter. Incredible conformation, and a personality and temperament of a puppy dog, with that beautiful Hunter toe-flicking movment, and a Presence that makes a statement. We bred her the following year to Remarquez, and she produced an elegant, athletic filly in her image who also posessed the most wild colored striping pattern I have ever seen on a Thoroughbred. This filly has near-perfect conformation, with a BEAUTIFUL top line, a lovely short back, and legs that go on for miles like her mama, not to mention that lovely elevated Dressage Movement I knew was there when I purchased her. Not a fan of live cover, Pandora was sold in Foal to Remarquez to Michael and Kaitlyn H. for their Warmblood breeding program. |
